Marlies Appel (Dongen, 1945) lives and works in Overveen, The Netherlands. Marlies Appel got her degree in the arts at the Rietveld Academy in the seventies. Her work is represented in several public and private collections: Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, Stedelijk Museum in Schiedam, Teylers Museum in Haarlem, The NOG collection of SNS REAALfonds, ABN/Amro art collection and the Bouwfonds art collection in Hoevelaken.
